2 out of 5 stars not really for nextel   May 19, 2010

I bought this Jabra head set because it says jabra for nextel, but it is really a simple headset wih a 2.5mm that the PTT does not work at all for nextel PTT conversation, so at the end, it only works as a regular headset with 2.5mm jack.
I hate the shape of the headset and it is really uncomfortable.
The only good thing is that the sound is excellent

I bought this on a referral for the C250....this is much better than what I had been using. I can hear very well and so can my caller.

1 out of 5 stars Can you hear me now?   January 30, 2010

I normally do not review products. However, my experience with this product was so bad that I wanted to share it. Other potential buyers should NOT buy this device. I was looking for a wired ear piece, as I try to avoid placing bluetooth and microwaves by my head. I bought this and the Plantronics device as I keep one in the car and one in my computer bag, and I wanted to compare the two. This one is the worst I've seen. You can hear people fine, but the microphone is just plain crap. The sound is garbled and unclear. Everytime I made a call with this device, the listener on the other end of the line complained that they could understand what I was saying.

My advice is to pass on this and buy the Plantronics one that clips under your ear and has a mini-boom microphone. It works amazingly well, is easy to store/carry, and maybe even costs less. When I use the Plantronics device people can hear me just fine and and I can hear them as well as I can with other devices I have used.

5 out of 5 stars A Must Have in California   December 6, 2009

OK, so the traffic cops in the city and highways are making bucks on tickets for you, using your own phone, in your own car. I know, I know, safety, blah, blah, blah, lol

I have tried the bluetooth sets and found them pricey and without good sound quality. Our car has bluetooth and the sound quality, lack of privacy, etc. is terrible even in a premium brand car. I have a Jabra bluetooth and this is better, way better. The sound is quality is very good both ways. The earpiece is comfortable and comes with two sizes of inner ear pieces. I prefer the smaller of the two and they send a couple spares of each. I think I paid like $10 shipped and keep one in each vehicle. It is very easy to put on quickly if you need to make/take a call, so you don't have to wear it all the time.

I purchased this item because I kept getting a short with my other ear pieces but come to find out it wasn't the ear piece but the phone itself. On the good side I have multiple ear pieces should I ever have to replace one.
