Good sound July 23, 2010

I bought this item because I wanted a Blackberry OEM product that I knew would work (been burned by aftermarket phone accessories). Pros: I like these earphones because they come with different sized/shaped rubber earpieces and overall its hardly noticeable when wearing it. Very easy to use.
Cons: The microphone piece is a bit heavy and can pull the earpiece out and the earpieces tend to be a bit too small (even when using the large ones.
 This is NOT a 3.5mm microphone -- beware! July 14, 2010

I ordered this specifically because it is supposed to be a 3.5mm microphone. Apparently this is what they have been shipping, based on past reviews, but I received a very nice 2.5mm microphone with earbuds that fit perfectly, along with a separately packaged very cheap 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter that DID NOT WORK worth a nickel! The people I called sounded like they were miles away, and they said I sounded like I was in an echo chamber. It's possible that this was a temporary substitution because they were out of 3.5mm, but I would check first! Unless you need a 2.5mm product, don't buy this one without checking.

This is a good product for the price. It is cheaply made and my first one had an earbud come appart after a few months but for this price order 2 or 3. The microphone appears to be as good as those on much more expensive sets.

I like this! I bought the (Blackberry Microphone for BlackBerry HDW-16904-001 Wired Stereo Headset w Noise-Isolating Ear Gels & In-Line Microphone, 3.5mm, Black)
I use them to listen to music and talk on the phone. The audio quality is clear and the phone conversation is also clear. The talk mic is positioned nicely close to your chin so it does feel like its hanging too low. The ear buds are soft and comfortable and it comes with different size buds for your ear type. I bought the headphones for $8 so now I'm ordering two more sets because I like them this much.
