I DRIVE A BIG TRUCK AND IT WORKS GREAT July 29, 2010 paulg I drive an eighteen wheeler and needed hands free while making local deliveries. Another driver had tried 3 or 4 different types of bluetooth headsets and earpieces without success. One day he called me and asked how he sounded and I told him it was better than his normal phone. After he told me what he finally bought, I ordered one for myself and it works great and I have had no issues with it so far.
I have recommended it to other truck drivers to comply with hands free laws in our area.
Good product July 29, 2010 Stapler I purchased this headset because my cell phone conversations seemed sometimes difficult through the Bluetooth in my car.
The unit is a bit large and heavy on the side with the boom and electronics but the quality is Excellent!!
Blue Parrot Headset July 21, 2010 Shell One (Kentucky USA) I gave this item to my husband as a birthday gift. He drives a tractor-trailer, and with all the new laws regarding cell phone use while driving, this was a wonderful option. He has tried other hands-free devices and they didn't work as well as they should. I can call him and we can have clear communication with one another. I am thinking of getting another one for myself (it probably won't be long before there are laws banning cell phone use while driving in the south central Kentucky area-texting has already been banned.)
Thanks again for providing this great product.
it works July 15, 2010 paddyo This Blue Parrott headset is the best I have found for work.
I drive class A Freightliner and Mac day-cabs; every other headset (bluetooth or wired) that I've tried (including the Jawbone and BlueAnt) has failed to provide consistent usability while I'm rolling. Folks on the other end aren't constantly asking me to repeat myself (or call back from a land-line) and even when the jake cuts in, I can hear whomever.
The only thing I dislike about it is it's over-the-head rig. It is uncomfortable when worn for hours (my ear gets hot and sweaty). Alternately, draping it around my neck is also uncomfortable; the plastic contraption that rests against the far side of my head when in use is very uncomfortable against my neck. Unlike a normal in-ear blue-tooth that you can pretty much leave on all day, I wind up hanging this from the trailer brake handle most of the time.
But that drawback is far from fatal: now I can talk with my wife, dispatch, or even those voice controlled phone trees without any problems being understood. It works, 'nuff said.
great July 12, 2010 widetrack4 Drive tractor over road works great. Down side a little big. The battery last a good while.
