 Awkward earpiece and broken charger connector June 14, 2010

Sound and basic function were surprisingly good. I am used to people complaining about being able to hear me, even on direct handset, but didn't often get that feedback with the 510, except in high wind (probably would have been an issue with direct handset, too). Unfortunately, getting the earpiece to stay put was awkward and usually unsuccessful. I'm an electrician, so secure ear hold is more of an issue as I work throughout the day than for someone who stands/sits upright all day and isn't moving around all the time.
Biggest Problem: the second time I went to charge the device, the connector on the earpiece collapsed in and won't receive the charge pin anymore. I can't say whether my seller or Plantronics will support me on this, because I haven't tried to get a replacement, but I'm not sure it's worth my time to deal with crappy stuff. I need something that works right the first time.

great headset; i wanted adequate volume and this one delivers.
As with all bluetooths, i wish it had a more obvious on/off switch (not the button you hold down forever)
But its very good.

"Recertified in China" was garbage!!! 3 of the 4 I purchased quit in less then one week!! April 25, 2010

In less then one week 3 of the 4 "recertified in China" Plantronic Voyager 510 Bluetooth Headsets have died!! This is atrocious, why do we continue to purchase items made in China or items that have been "recertified in China"?? If I had known that they had been "recertified in China" I NEVER WOULD HAVE PURCHASED THEM!!! I am very angry and demand my money back!!! I want Amazon from now on to identify the items that are either made in China or "recertified in China" on their site, so that we can make an informed choice as to what we want to purchase.
