2 out of 5 stars Great while it lasts, but it doesn't last long..   September 3, 2010
Gregory A. Macklem (Salem, VA USA)
I am on my third one and love the call quality. I really love the swing out mic that turns the earpiece on and off. You can save a lot of battery life by having it off until you get a call. Swing out the mic and answer the call by the third ring. But, and this is a huge BUT, the swing out mic is also the weak point. The wires in the arm eventually weaken or break. At first it will sound like you are far off and then it might not work at all. As such, I cannot recommend this earpiece to others.

The headset works great. I have no issues with using the headset. I had gotten different ones before but have had troubles. I found this one and it works great.

2 out of 5 stars Great headset with a big problem...   July 25, 2010
D. A. Waterbury (CA, USA)
I purchased my first H710 from Amazon over a year ago and loved it for ~5 months. Great fit, hardly noticeable on the ear, crystal clear audio, great talk/standby time, and easily paired with both of my phones, and switched between them flawlessly. I was really disappointed when the first headset appeared to have gotten stuck in the Mute mode... Nobody could hear me on the other end of the line. Rather than deal with the warranty, I decided I'd just get another headset. Shopping around, I couldn't find another that matched the H710 in comfort and features, so I purchased another! I've been happy for another 3 months now - until yesterday. Coming back from the Tahoe area, I made a call to my brother, and the same stupid problem occurred with the new set. At first, I considered that it may have been due to just bad phone reception, or a low battery charge, but I just confirmed that it's the same issue as my last H710.

I'm really disappointed - upon reading reviews here and elsewhere, I see others have had the same problem... Even on the Moto website people have brought the issue up, but have had zero response from Moto. While I may attempt to deal with Amazon for a replacement, I'll likely just look at another manufacturer.

1 out of 5 stars Died in 7 months   July 16, 2010
Bruce Bolderman (Manasquan, NJ USA)
Purchased in December 2009, and stopped working in July 2010. I can hear the caller, but they can't hear me. I see it is a common problem.

1 out of 5 stars didnt work   June 27, 2010

I have owned several of this style of bluetooth, and when replacing the 4th one (I lose things easily, I guess) I decided to try not spending as much on it. I received it quickly, but it didn't work. It was unable to hold a charge for longer than 20 minutes, and eventually was unable to receive a charge. Save your money and purchase a new one in store.
